Magic Hour
A summer internship through Mural Arts of Philadelphia. I had the pleasure to work with Brad Carney on his amazing masterpiece. This 26’ by 66’ wall took a few weeks of sweat and dripping paint to bring to completion. This mural site is at the Temple University Regional Rail station on Berks Street.

With two murals under my belt at this point Brad gave me free liberty to mimic his work with not as much supervision as others and I was very honored to have that trust. I was responsible for four sections of this mural, both the left and right sides very top portion in the middle, and the string lines. I learned a lot of new skills when it comes to painting on a wall during the few weeks I was there, this wall had a stucco texture to it so many spots needed a lot of time and patients to get the area to look just right.
